It is time for another group of parents to provide our school with fresh new ideas to make NSEE Home & School an organization to be proud of. Each Home and School Executive is able to serve a two-year term on the executive and this is the current executives second year.
Once again NSEE will be holding our annual cutest pet contest. In the past, this has proven to be a great school fundraiser and also an activity that has brought fun and excitement to the classrooms at our school.
There is a $2.00 fee to enter your pet’s photo into the competition. Students can enter more than one pet, however, they must be on separate entry forms and the $2.00 fee for each entry.
The dates for this years contest are as follows.
March 14-16
Students must bring entry forms back into the school with $2.00
March 19
Students vote in their classrooms
March 20-22

On Wednesday February 29th 2012 North and South Esk Elementary hosted the Blackville Eagles at Sunny Corner Arena for the 9th Annual Principals Cup hockey game.
In front of a packed house of parents, students, staff, and community members the North and South Esk Beavers defeated the Blackville Eagles by a score of 5 to 3 to regain the cup.
Goal scores for NSEE were Courtney Johnston with four goals, Molly Muzerall with one goal. For Blackville, goal scorers were Olivia Buggie with one goal and Aaron Walls with two goals.
On Wednesday February 29 all students are encouraged to wear something pink to raise awareness of bullying. Pink Shirt Day was started in Nova Scotia by two students and has since become a worldwide stance against bullying. Together, we can take a stand, in pink, and show that we don’t support bullying of any kind here at NSEE. Thank you for your support.
