On Thursday February 26, 2015 NSEE will be celebrating PINK SHIRT DAY. Students are asked to wear pink to show their support against bullying.

We will be celebrating Family Literacy Day on Friday, January 30th.
What is Family Literacy?

Literacy is more than books. There are several ways to keep your literacy skills sharp - all it takes is practicing for 15 minutes every day. Reading, writing, playing a game, following a recipe, or even singing a song all help prepare children for the future.

The NSEE elementary boys and girls basketball teams will begin their season this week!

Students in grade 4/5, and who have returned their permission slips, will begin practicing.  The girls will have practice on Tuesdays after school from 3:15 - 4:30 pm and the boys will have practices on Thursdays from 3:15 - 4:30 pm each week.  Students are required to have a change of gym clothes for practices and games.

The staff of NSEE would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and all the best in 2015!

REMINDER:  First day back for students is Tuesday January 6th 2015

Thank you so much to the parents who have sent in money for World Vision as a gift to the teachers. We really appreciate your generosity and thoughtfulness! This is our fifth year for this campaign and it continues to be a success!
