On Wednesday February 29th 2012 North and South Esk Elementary hosted the Blackville Eagles at Sunny Corner Arena for the 9th Annual Principals Cup hockey game.  In front of a packed house of parents, students, staff, and community members the North and South Esk Beavers defeated the Blackville Eagles by a score of 5 to 3 to regain the cup. Goal scores for NSEE were Courtney Johnston with four goals, Molly Muzerall with one goal.  For Blackville, goal scorers were Olivia Buggie with one goal and Aaron Walls with two goals. Both teams played a very competitive game and all players are to be commended for their fair play and sportsmanship. This is the 6th victory for NSEE in the nine year history of the Principal’s Cup, while Blackville has taken the cup home on 3 occasions.   Members include:  Zoe Tozer, Tyra Jardine, Anna Savoie, Morlan Silliker, Paige Matchett, Courtney Johnston, Harrison Manderville, Molly Muzerall, Ryan Scott, Christopher Hosford, NSEEY(the NSEE Mascot), Ashley White, and Joe AugustineJoe Augustine Coaches: Mike Buggie (Principal) and Jamie Henderson (Vice Principal)
