In our measurement unit we checked out how long/ tall and short things are compared to each other.
You may want to have some fun with this at home! Here are some ideas: Line your family up in order of height; line up shoes in order of length; roll out playdoh (or cookie dough ! ) - who can make the longest :"snake"? ; line up the stuffed animals in order of height...

Grade 1 is reviewing their doubles facts in math class. Remember that we have a few tricks to help us - for example 9+9=18 is our 18 wheeler fact and 6+6=12 is our dozen of eggs fact. Can your child tell you the rest? TNB Young Company Wrote Back to Us!!!
