International Walk to School gives children, parents, school teachers and community leaders an opportunity to be part of a global event as they celebrate the many benefits of walking. Walkers from around the world walk to school together for various reasons — all hoping to create communities that are safe places to walk. NSEE celebrated International Walk To School on Friday October 5th.  Students, parents, and community members gathered together and walked the access road leading to the school.

We will be having our Fall Fair again this year on the evening of Friday, October 26th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  The staff and student leaders will host this event.  In the past, it has proven to be a very enjoyable time for the children as well as a time for parents to meet and chat.  Parents who are available to volunteer at the Fair are asked to contact the school.  All students must be accompanied by an adult.  Students will be able to pre-purchase game tickets (25cents) prior to the Fair, and tickets will also be sold at the door.
