We had a very special guest with us today. Visiting from “the big school” was the NSER Mascot Striker! Striker had a very important message to give everyone this morning at NSEE. Our school is excited to announce that Striker the Cobra has slithered into NSEE and our school his home. We are proud to join with NSER as Cobras. Cobras are viewed as a threat by other animals because they are powerful, strong, hardworking, and determined. These characteristics are reflected in the students here at NSEE. We are strong, determined and hardworking.

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Stephen Allison and Valero Energy Inc. for the generous donation to the NSEE Breakfast program, allowing us to continue to offer Breakfast for students. This donation will greatly help in supporting student learning and overall health and wellness. It is the assistance from individuals like you that have enabled this school to accomplish far more than it otherwise could have. On behalf of the students and staff at NSEE, I thank you once again. Yours sincerely, Jamie Henderson - Principal

As the holiday season approaches our staff has decided that we would like to support World Vision Canada again this year. In the past few years we have been so impressed by how the children want to make a difference in the lives of others who are less fortunate. Although we truly appreciate parents’ kindness when they send gifts to the staff at Christmas, we are asking that instead of buying gifts for us you contribute to the purchase of items for needy children around the world.
