On Thursday June 23rd students and staff participated in the Year-End Recognition Award Assembly. Our Jr. Cobras had much to celebrate and many students received certificates for theiir hard work throughout the year.
On Tuesday June 7th the ASD-North Turnaround Awards were held at the Rodd Miramichi. Spencer Jardine, a grade 5 student and Jr Cobra at NSEE was recognized for his hard work, determination, and kindness in making a significant change.
NSEE is very pleased that 3 of our students were Winners at the District Spell-A-Thon. Congratulations to Ben Walsh 1st Place Grade 4 - Landen Ferron-McGillan 1st Place Grade 3 and Izak Dubois 2nd Place Kindergarten.
A big thank you to all the students that participated in the NSEE school Spell A Thon for 2016. All pledge money raised will go towards the continued improvements to the Library Learning Commons.
A big congratulations to each of the grade winners who will be representing NSEE at the ASD-North District Spelling Bee at Blackville School on May 26th.
NSEE CrossFit Kids showed their support for Fort McMurray by completing 80 Burpees which symbolizes over 80 000 people who had to leave their homes. The Grade 6 class also made a donation.
Congratulations to both Mrs. Dickson's and Mrs. Sullivan's grade 3 classes for receiving the Certificate of Achievement at the 2016 Miramichi Regional Music Festival for "Classroom Singing".
All students and parents at NSEE are encouraged to get some exercise and have some fun during this year’s bass season on the Miramichi. To this end, we are promoting our fourth annual Bass Fishing Derby at our school. Details are as follows:
