Congratulations to Daynen Stewart (Grade 4) and Will Rumbolt (Grade 2) for being picked for "Fire Chief For the Day"! The students in the class were treated to lunch and had a visit from the firemen. Winners were given a backpack full of treats and were able to go for a drive in the firetruck.
Winter Carnival Week will take place the week of February 27th. Many activities are being planned for the week. A memo will go home in the near future outlining the weeks events including theme days! Note that the annual Principal Cup hockey game against Blackville School will take place at the Renous Arena on Thursday March 2nd beginning at noon. Go Jr. Cobras!
TNB Young Company will be at NSEE to Perform "The Damsel In Distress Who Saved Herself" on Thursday February 17th at 9:00 am. Students are asked to bring in a toonie to help off set the cost of the performance.
Due to the ongoing power outages, and school closures the NSEE Family Literacy Day has been postoned and will be rescheduled at a later date next week. Stay tuned! Please note that the special meal that was to be served on Friday January 27th will be served on Monday January 30th.
NSEE Family Literacy Day will take place on Friday January 27th 2017. This years theme is "Pig Out On Good Books!" There will be a number of activities for the students throughout the day celebrating Literacy. More details regarding Literacy Day will be sent home in the near future,

We have been able to purchase: Agricultural Packs for 3 Families, Winter Clothing for 25 Children Supplied a Classroom, 2 Hens & Rooster, 2 Mosquito Nets, Sports Equipment, a Fish Farm and a GOAT! Together we made a difference!
