Homework:
1. Complete pages 1, 2, and questions 1/2 on page three of the worksheets "Thunderstorms".
2. Students will be building Parallel Circuits, Electromagnets, and Rheostats this week in class.
3. A reminder to review the various symbols(copied in students scribblers) used when making diagrams of circuits.

Important Reminder!!!
1. Students are reminded to bring in a block of wax, wood block about the size of the wax, two juice cans, string, a piece of plastic wrap, and a wool hat/scarf/ or glove to conduct an experiment involving "Static Electricity".
2. Students will begin exploring parallel circuits next week!

Homework:
1. Title page is now due...unit is "Electricity".
2. Last week students experimented with materials and created several series circuits. Students are now developing circuits with switches aquiring the knowledge of "open" vs "closed" circuits.
3. Both classes will explore static electricity and magnets over the next few days. A video accompanied by questions/mini experiments will be the focus of class Wednesday and Thursday. Students will be asked to bring in various materials to conduct the mini experiments in the coming days.

1. A reminder to all students to make corrections on the "Solar System Research Assignment". Assignments must be signed by parents and returned to Mr. Henderson ASAP.
2. The next unit in Science "Electricity" will begin tomorrow.
3. The School Based Science Fair is on April 18th/19th and students are reminded to pick a topic and begin working on their project. All projects are due on April 16th.
