NSEE Students in grades 2 to 5 were rewarded with an activity day for their excellent participation in our "60 Minute Kids Club" challenge.
Over 400 schools participated nationally in this challenge.
As a club, they placed 1st in New Brunswick and 5th in Canada. Wow!!
Their grand prize was a trip to Camp Sheldrake for a full day of activities!

This is a reminder that the last day of school for students is Friday June 20th. This will be a half day with early dismissal at 11:30 am.Have a great summer vacation everyone!
The annual Mango Fun Run will take place on Sunday, June 22nd at 10:30 at the Lindon Recreation Centre. Registration will take place from 9:30 to 10:15. All NSEE students are encouraged to attend. Hope to see you all on June 22nd!!
On Friday June 6th NSEE students in grades 2 to 5 received a wonderful surprise for their efforts in participating in the "60 Minute Club" throughout the year. Finishing first in New Brunswick and sixth in Canada, students where presented with a big reward. Chris Tremblay, Regional Representative for The 60 Minute Club, visited the school and announced to the grades 2 to 5 students that they would all be treated to a full day trip to Camp Sheldrake.A big congratulations to all the students and a special thank you to our very own Ms.
Once again this summer a group of local basketball coaches will hold their annual summer camp at Miramichi Valley High School. This one-week camp will focus on developing sound fundamentals through individual instruction and competitions, as well as team-oriented activities. The instructors are all teachers in the Miramichi area and bring a wealth of coaching and teaching experience to this summer camp.
There will be one session offered each day:
1) 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM - Designated for players currently in grades K-5

Did you know that it is important to energize yourself by eating well before playing sports, or going for a run? Carbohydrates are the most important type of nutrient that someone need for energy before a game. You can get these by eating fruits, vegetables grains such as pasta, spaghetti, or breads. Avoid food containing high levels of sugar before a game, such as candy bars or pop.
