Homework: March Break

For the March Break, students are asked to read as often as they can. I will be sending home a math facts sheet, which they should practice with an adult as often as they can. The first day back is Monday, March 10. It won't be a Gym day. Skating starts on Wednesday, March 12, so get your gear ready! All students must have a helmet. Check your schedule for Drama or Mad Science dates. Student Agendas were kept at the school for the break. Sleep in when you can!   Hope everyone has a great break!

Happy Holidays!

           Hey 3 S, what a great job you all did singing our beautiful song at the Christmas concert! You all looked so Christmassy, and  I heard many compliments about your sweet voices. The finale filled everyone with the Christmas spirit.I just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and thank everyone for the gifts of money you donated on my behalf for World Vision, the personal gifts you gave me, and the lovely cards you sent. I am a lucky teacher. For Parents: Hope you all have a relaxing break, and get a few sleep-ins over the holidays.I have kept the children's homework agendas here at school, as well as any "Baggie" books they may have.The first day back for students is Tuesday, Jan.7. It is not a gym day for our class. The students do not have any formal homework over the holidays. If they want to read...that's great. Another Structure Challenge!

This challenge was about using 2 pieces of paper and 30 cm. of masking tape to create a Book Holder structure. The structure had to hold the book 5 cm. off the desk for 10 seconds.
