   Use the following link to begin your flight training assignments:    http://www.learnalberta.ca/content/setf/html/StudentResource/index.html    Click on the blue button in bottom right corner "You are cleared for takeoff." Expectations: You will be marked on your work. All students are responsible for finishing their own worksheets. Answer questions in full sentences, with good explanation. You should do the assignments in the order given.
Due date for Grade 6R mini-research projects: Tuesday, May 7 Use your marking guide checklist (attached) to guide your work.

Field Trip Notice: On Friday, March 15, students from 5S and 5D will be going on a day-long class field trip to Tracadie! We will be leaving the school by bus at 8:30 and returning by 3:00. We will be doing a French scavenger hunt, ordering our lunch in French, and a little bit of shopping at the Dollarama. No parent volunteers will be needed for this trip. Please note the following details: ·         Students should wear appropriate clothing for the day’s weather, as we will be outside at times. ·         No need to bring a lunch, just a recess snack. ·         Maximum $5.00 spending money for Dollar store.

Just a note that the test date has been moved to Monday, Feb. 4th. Use your review to study. I've provided an overview of content covered below:   Step 1: Download and save class notes somewhere on your home computer.(It's the one called- lesson 4 stereotypes immigration.notebook) Step 2: Use this website to open the class notebook files: http://express.smarttech.com/ Click blue button on left: "Open an existing notebook file." It will prompt you to search for the file on your computer. Guide it to the file you've just downloaded-wherever you saved it.   Be aware that it takes several minutes to load.

Just a note to let parents know about our concert gear. Our song has a "rapper" theme, so students are asked to bring a pair of sunglasses as the "prop" for our part.On the day of gthe concert, students may choose to wear "rapper" style clothing, or they may dress as they choose.Santa hats are fine.

Attached are the requirements for the next assignment for Social Studies. Use the rubric to guide your work. Be aware that most of the work is to be done at home. You will need to submit your work to me for final approval. Use the notes I send back to guide you. I will be going online once per day to review submissions and send feedback. *Do not expect to have submissions answered after 7:00 pm the night before(19th)/ or the morning of the due date. Due Date: I will use the last draft version that exists on your personal account or the last version submitted or approved as of next Thursday, Dec. 20/12 class.
