Thanks to all of those who helped support our fundraiser to help Change Perth-Andover. With a top up from the school we were able to help support the Perth-Andover Flood Relief with a donation of $600.00. Special thanks to Phyllis Davidson for organizing this fundraiser.

Staff and students at NSEE would like to acknowledge three students for their excellent work in maintaining the school mountain bikes so that students will be safe each and every time they are used. Evan Matchett, Ryan Cain, and Conrad Murphy have been maintaining the bikes keeping NSEE students safe Everyone at NSEE Thanks you for the terrific work and care you displayed over the last several weeks.
The testing for lead in the water fountains at NSEE is now complete. We are pleased to let you know that all of the fountains have past the testing process and will remain in service.
You are invited to attend the NSEE musical "Blue Suede Paws"
We are performing our play two nights this week.
Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door.
Doors will open at 6:30.
The performance for the NSEE students will be on Wednesday, May 16th for the school during the day at 12:45pm. All students are to have their costumes with them that day!
The grade 6 students of North and South Esk Elementary were presented with a unique challenge this year. They were asked to create their own book from start to finish, using an online publishing network which would allow them to become both author and artist.
Blue Suede Paws Musical
Here is some important information regarding drama:
Due to some scheduling conflicts, we have to change the time of our dress rehearsal to Friday from 2pm until 4pm. Students are asked to bring their costume to change into at school ....don’t panic if you don’t have all parts of your costume. (Your hair and make-up doesn’t have to done!. ) You should also wear the shoes that you will be wearing the night of the performance to get used to wearing them.
Please have a drive ready for Friday at 4pm at the gym door.

We are very pleased to announce that Ryan Lawlor, has been selected as our Turnaround Achievement Award Winner for 2012.
This program recognizes one student from each school in the district who has shown the most effort, commitment and perseverance in turning around their life. Ryan will be recognized at a banquet at the Rodd Inn on Thursday, May 17th. Congratulations Ryan!
