Blue Suede Paws Musical   Here is some important information regarding drama:   Due to some scheduling conflicts, we have to change the time of our dress rehearsal to Friday from 2pm until 4pm.    Students are     asked to bring their costume to change into at school ....don’t panic if you don’t have all parts of your costume.  (Your hair and make-up doesn’t have to done!.  ) You should also wear the shoes that you will be wearing the night of the performance to get used to wearing them.    Please have a drive ready for Friday at 4pm at the gym door.   We will stop and have a snack so please send in an extra snack & drink with your child tomorrow.   For our performances, choir members are asked to wear white tops and have their hair in pig-tales.  The boys will be wearing blue jeans and white t-shirts.  Choir members can wear shorts under their skirts.  We have the skirts at school for them; however, we are short four crinolines for the choir member’s skirts.  Does anyone have a crinoline or a tutu we can borrow?  Go check your dress-up trunk for us.  Thanks!   We are performing out play three times next week.  (Each cast and choir member will receive one free ticket so that a parent does not have to pay to attend the play two nights in a row.)   Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door.  If you wish to pre-purchase tickets, send in your money in a baggie to the office with the date of the show you wish to attend written on it.  Your tickets will be sent home.  Doors will open at 6:30.   Our school performance will be on Wednesday, May 16th for the school during the day.  All students are to have their costumes with them that day!   Our first public performance will take place on Wednesday evening, May 17th at 7pm.  Cast and choir members are asked to be at the school for 6:30. They are to go to Mrs. Esty’s classroom to wait until show time.  Any cast member will be wearing a wireless mic will have to come a few minutes earlier.  (They will know who they are!)   Our last performance will take place on Thursday evening, May 18th at 7pm.  Cast and choir members are asked to be at the school for 6:30. They are to go to Mrs. Esty’s classroom to wait until show time.    After our final show, we will be meeting in the cafeteria for a light snack and a “Meet and Greet” time with our stars.  Parents and staff members as asked to provide snacks on this night (ie. cookies, cupcakes, dips & chips, sweets, etc.)  NSEE will be looking after the drinks.   Thanks for another great drama season!!
