We had a fantastic time with math outside yesterday! We used IPads with QR readers for an addition and subtraction scavenger hunt! The children had to find the monster cards, scan the code and then answer the math fact. They had a great time and did a fantastic job! Be sure to ask them all about...

Monster Math
This is an excellent game for practicing the facts as we learn them. You can select which number you will add. Begin by choosing 1 and once that is fast, move onto 2 and then 3. Remember the strategy that we learned is count on. So if the fact is 5+2, you would say 5, 6, 7. Have fun!
