Spelling Practice
This is a fun way to practice sight words. Don't be afraid to start at the lowest level as it includes words that are not solid with many of the kids yet.

Math Facts - First to Five
Here is a fun game to reinforce math facts! Remember to spend a few minutes each night on facts. Our goal is to know all addition and subtraction facts to 18 in a snap (less than 3 seconds). I will continue to send home paper fact games but online games are a great motivator for the children as well. Have fun!!

Math - Skip Counting
Please be sure to keep skip counting each night! Remember by the end of the year we need to be able to count by 2's, 5's, 10's backward and forward to 100 (starting at different numbers)!

In class we have been discussing change. We explored the various stages that plants go through and then visited the Community Garden to explore lots of interesting plants. Some we had never seen before. Great adventure!
