Kindergarten

Brystol came for her third visit on Wednesday, November 13th.  We learned about caring

and planning for the baby.  Tory brought Brystol's diaper bag and showed us everything

she needs to pack when she takes Brystol out.

We had lots of Halloween fun today!

We had so much fun reading French and English books with Grade 4!  Then, we sang

a French Halloween song together.

Today was Brystol's second Roots of Empathy visit.  She smiled and laughed for us, and we

really enjoyed our time together.  We sangs songs to her and asked Tory lots of questions.

Our theme this week was "Why Babies Cry".

We read a Fall book and went for a nature walk today as part of "Take Me Outside Day".  We enjoyed looking

at the Fall colours and noticing the changes in the trees.  Then, we came back inside and made leaf ghosts for the

hallway.

We visited the hospital on Wednesday, October 2nd.  Our new friend, Barb,

took us to visit many departments, and we met so many friendly people

who work at the hospital.

We had a wonderful morning at McAllister's Apple Farm.  The weather

was perfect!  We got to pick apples and grapes.  We went on a wagon

ride and watched Mr. McAllister make apple cider before we ate lunch in

the barn.

We were so excited to have our Roots of Empathy Baby, Brystol, visit

us on Wednesday, September 25th.  We learned so much about her...

Ms. Underhill's Grade 10 class wrote and illustrated children's stories.

They shared their books with us on Friday morning, and inspired us to

write our own books.  We loved sharing our books with each other!
