Homework (Tuesday, Oct. 4)

I am going to try to post the homework for 6M each day.Students should have this same information in their agendas.   Homework:          Reading-   Read 20 minutes           Literacy-  Finish questions #1-8 for story                Math-  Get math quiz signed & Finish “Extra Practice” sheet #5 Social Studies-                Other:  Bring a water bottle (our water is very unpredictable)                           "Picture Day" (Oct. 18th)- Smile Pretty!!                           Newsletters went home on Monday                           Gym (Wednesday & Friday)                         Don’t forget the magazine orders!  Due on Oct. 11th   Have a great day!!

Welcome Back to School Grade 6!!

          Wow!  Where did the summer go?   The grade 6 teachers would like to welcome all the grade 6 students back to school. We would like to welcome Mr. Gary Ryder to our school this year.  He will be the other grade homeroom teacher along with Mrs. Mutch.   Subjects: Math-  Mrs. Mutch Literacy- Mr. Ryder Social Studies/ Science- Mr. Henderson Phys. Ed.- Mr. Ryder Technology- Mr. Buggie French- Mr. Sonier   We are going to have an awesome year!!! We will see you on Tuesday!!!

Grade 5 and Grade 6 Math Quiz

On Friday, Feb.18th: The Grade 5 students will have a short quiz on Unit 4: Measurement. The Grade 6 students will have a short quiz on Unit 6:  Geometry and Measurement.

Math Portfolio (in a blue dua tang)

Grade 5 (Math Journals)

Don't forget that Grade 5 Math Journals are giving on Monday and due on Friday.  Students should be sure they add lots of details and explain their journal in their own words.

Grade 6 Math Test

The grade 6 students will have a math test on Friday, December 4th.  This test will be on the unit Geometry.  There will be questions about quadrilaterals, triangles, symmetry, cross-sections, and orthographic drawings.  Good luck!!

Grade 5 Math Test (Multiplication and Division Unit)

Dear Parents, The grade 5 students will be having a unit test on Multiplication and Division.  They will be solving 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication, dividing, estimating and word problems.  The test will be on Thursday, Nov. 19.  Good luck!
