Sadie built a snowman over and over again with lots of different things. We looked at the shapes on a snowman and learned the rules for our "Roll a Snowman" game.

In class we are learning to describe them by using words like curved, straight, flat, corner, point, edge, side, face, and the shapes of the sides (triangles, rectangles, circles and squares).

Check out Alpha Pig's Alpha bricks where you need to stop the wolf from blowing down the pig's house. Another fun one is Alphabet Falls where duck catches letters and gets treasure.

The children found the letter r so easy that we thought we would like to learn the word are too! We read some sentences like : Here are the presents. and Here are the bells.

We listened to our second story about Howard P. Wigglebottom when we did the letter Hh because Howard Listens to his heart. There are lots of Howard books available free online - Howard learns lots about getting along with others. There is a Christmas story too!
