Student Wellness Survey

Posted: April 18, 2013

The New Brunswick Student Wellness Survey began in 2006-2007 for grades 6-12 students and was repeated in 2009-2010. As part of the NB Wellness Strategy, the New Brunswick Department of Healthy and Inclusive Communities in collaboration with the Department of Education and the New Brunswick Health Council have undertaken the 2012-2013 NB Student Wellness Survey to measure and report on the wellness behaviours of all students in grades 6-12. Students will be asked questions about their wellness behaviours such as their eating and physical activity habits, bullying and tobacco use, and how connected they feel to their school. On April 22, 2013 our grade 6 students will be participating in this survey. If you would like more information on the NB Student Wellness Survey, please call the New Brunswick Health Council at 1-877-225-2521.  If you do not wish your child to participate, you must contact the school at 836-7010 with this information.
