There will be an important meeting regarding French Second Language in the Public Education System. This meeting will take place on Wednesday November 23rd at Dr. Losier beginning at 6:30 pm.

There will be bus route changes as a result of the planned closure of Sutherland Brook Bridge on Route 420 Red Bank. It is anticipated the closure will be for 2 weeks, near the end of November.
Please see letter under "School Documents" for details of the closure and the bus route changes.
Term 1 reports will go home on Tuesday November 15th. Parent Teacher interviews will be conducted on Thursday November 17th from 5:00-7:00 pm and again on Friday morning November 18th from 9:00 - 11:30 am.
NOTE: The NSEE Home & School will be running the Scolastic Book Fair out of the Library Learning Commons the week of parent teacher interviews on November 14th to 17th.

On Thursday November 10th at 10:00 am NSEE students will be conducting the annual Remembrance Day Ceremony in the school gymnasium. Everyone is strongly encouraged to attend this important service as we honour those who fought for our freedom.
Following the ceremony, a luncheon will be served to the to our veterans and spouses.

Our annual Halloween Parade will be held for all students beginning at 8:45 am in the gymnasium on Monday October 31st. Parents are welcomed to attend. Students are encouraged to dress for Halloween on this date. There will be a prize for the most creative costume. (1 per class).
Each class will also be participating in Halloween activities in the gym throughout the day.
It's that time of year again! We are excited to be having a Fall Fair at NSEE. We have been successful with our bake sale in the past due to tremendous support from our parents.
If you would like to donate pickles, jams, squares, cookies, fudge, cupcakes, muffins, or other yummy treats, we would be very appreciative. The donated goods can be dropped off at the school by Friday October 28th by 4:00 pm.

Registration for children entering Kindergarten in September 2017 will be held from October 11-14 at NSEE. Parents are reminded that Kindergarten attendance in 2017-2018 is compulsory for children born in 2012, except if a child is born between September 1st and December 31st of that year. These children have the option of starting Kindergarten the following year.
Students, staff and parents celebrated the National Terry Fox Walk on Friday September 30th. In total $270 was raised to help the fight against cancer. A big thank you to everyone who donated to such a great cause!
The NSEE annual QSP major fundraiser will begin on September 27th. The fundraiser will consist of the magazine and gift purchase through QSP. Your child will be receiving this information including the catalogue and order form on September 27th.
All profits made will go toward many initiatives including field trip travel costs, breakfast program, sports equipament, and new learning resources. NSEE thanks you in advance for your continued support!
