As part of our Fishing Derby, NSEE is hosting an after school Bass Fishing Family Night on Wednesday May 24th at 6:30 pm at the Bill Schenkels homestead in Whitney. Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy an evening of fishing. Please see memo in "document" for details.
The ASD-N Archery Competition for Grades 4-8 students will take place on May 18th at Max Aitken Academy. Good luck to our Jr. Cobras who will be competing in the competition!
The NSEE Spell-A-Thon will wrap up this Friday May 12th. Students are asked to bring all pledge money and pledge sheets to school on Friday. Grade level spell-off will take place in each class on Friday. Good luck Jr Cobras!
All students and parents at NSEE are encouraged to get some exercise and have some fun during this year’s bass season on the Miramichi. To this end, we are promoting our fifth annual Bass Fishing Derby at our school. The NSEE Bass Derby Wiil run from May 3rd - May 31st.
A big congratulations to many of our Jr. Cobras as they received awards for their contribution to the annual Rememberance Day Poster and Poetry Contest. Special recognition to Ahna Holmes and Jaida Augustine who were first place provincial winners.

As part of the Fish Friends initiative, NSEE grade 2 students from Mrs. Silliker's class enjoy the opportunity to learn about the growth of the Atlantic Salmon. A big thank you to Mr. Grant Hendry for delivering the eggs to the school and taking the time to explain the salmon growth process to the grade 2 students. Thanks Grant!
