Sunny Corner Karate   Karate classes will be held at the NSEE Gym every FridayClasses begin September 26th First Class Any students in grade one up until blue belt will come from 3:15 to 4:15.  This first class must be picked up at 4:15 as there is no supervision.  The only exception is if Michael has requested you to help with the younger class. Second Class Double blue and higher will come from 4:20 to 5:20.  Please be punctual and Note: Students in the 4:20 class are not permitted to stay after school and wait until karate classes begin and this year it is mandatory to have a mouth guard, gloves and a cup for their protection. Fee The fee is $70 per term, payable on the first night of class of each term September 26 and January 31st.   All fee payments must be paid on the first night, If not your child will not be able to attend class.  The fee can be paid either by cash or cheques made payable to Michael Bushey, Sonia will be there to collect the fee on September 26 as well on January 31st. First term will run every Friday from September 26 to December 12, classes will resume on January 10 until January 24.  Exception: As this is an after school activity, if school is cancelled or closes due to weather, karate will be automatically cancelled as well. On another note the fall fair for the school will happen in October during this week there will be no Karate. Second term will run every Friday from January 30th to May 8th.  If you do not have a uniform, gym clothing should be worn.  Students can choose to participate in sock feet or bare feet.  Karate Gi’s are available by contacting Michael or Sonia.  Prices are $30 for the jackets and $30 for the pants, anyone that places an order will have to pay upfront, no exceptions.  Also, we have second hand jackets and pants for sale, this will be available at the first and second classes. If Karate needs to be cancelled due to the instructor’s work or illness, a voice mail message and electronic email will be sent. Children that are registered for karate classes at NSEE are allowed to attend karate classes in Miramichi at no additional cost.  The classes in Miramichi are held at the Carrefour Beausoleil School on Monday and Thursday evenings with instructor Louis Morris.
