NSEE recently received an outdoor shed (12’ x 24’) built by the skilled hands of Mr. Richard Gionet and his students at James M. Hill.
The purpose of the shed is to house our newly acquired mountain bikes, snowshoes, skis, and various outdoor equipment. This will be beneficial for student’s health and wellness in a time where physical fitness is of the utmost importance.
A big thank you to the Home and School for their support on this important project!!
NSEE will be taking part in bullying awareness week which is held Nov. 13-19th. The theme this year is “STAND UP”. Friday November 18th will be BLUE FRIDAY. The color blue represents Former Canadian Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson who won the Nobel Peace Prize for his work in establishing United Nations Peacekeepers, who wear blue as a symbol of peace as they perform their work around the world.
As the Christmas season approaches, NSEE will again be holding a food drive in support of the local Food Banks.
In addition to helping support the Food Banks, each food item donated validates a ballot for a chance to win prizes provided by District 16 for our school - the more donations, the more chances to win !
There will be three draws for an iPad for the student's classroom!!
Although there are suggestions for each week, any food item is welcome.
