CULTURE CHALLENGE – WEEK #4

Meet 'Folf the Wolf'! HE is one of our seven animals of the Seven Sacred Teachings. Folf would love for you to expand your knowledge about wolves and get to know all about him and his teaching of 'Humility'!

This weeks Culture Challenge is to research 'the Wolf' and share your findings with Ms. Mountain via email, word doc. etc. You can do as much or as little research as you wish, but please share at least 2-3 sentences OR for the younger grades, you may draw a picture! (As the Kindergartener's know, I have a wall in my room that I displayed their Art work on that they would make for me, but in the hall way outside my classroom, I would always showcase students Artwork from Culture class.) If you choose to draw a picture, whether you are a big or a little, please email me a picture of your artwork and I will showcase it on my teacher page :)

Below you will find some ideas to research pertaining to wolves and the seven sacred teachings:

·        What are some characteristics of wolfs? What do they like to eat? Where do they live? What climate/season do they like best? Where do wolves hibernate? What do they make their homes out of?

·        Humility is the sacred teaching that goes along with 'Folf the Wolf'; What does 'Humility' mean? Give an example of a time in your life when you portrayed the qaulity of 'Humility'? Share your story with Ms. Mountain via email, word doc, or a picture :)

·    Why is 'the Wolf' one of The Seven Teachings animals?

Dont forget a photo of you doing your research :)
