This week we started working on our alphabet. Each day we review every letter with it's action and sound using the Zoo-phonics program. I will be sending home a description of these actions with the children's homework next week. Encourage your child to show you the ones that they remember - it is a fun way to practice letter sounds!  Each week we will focus on 2 letters of the alphabet. This week we are working with the letters Mm and Ss. There will be some homework to review these next week but it would be great to begin listening for words that begin with the sound of these 2 letters. The remainder of our new kindergarten students started school today. We had a very exciting day with a visit from NSEEY and a search for the Gingerbread man! It was nice to finally meet all of the new children and I'm sure they will be excited to be together as a whole class tomorrow!
