Our school is collecting food bank items. Each week
we will be looking for different items. This week we
are looking for Kraft Dinner, peanut butter and jam. I
will post on my website the items we are looking for at
the beginning of each week.

Our class will be visiting the book fair on Monday. If your child wants to buy a book you can send the money with them on Monday.

Some points to remember for our Halloween celebrations at school:
Come dressed in the morning
Bring a change of clothes as we will change at recess (10:05)
Our class will be performing a song "Halloween, Halloween" and a poem
Parents are welcome to attend (9:00)
Children should be at school at the regular time (no later than 8:20) so we can practice

Just a reminder that picture retakes will be on Thursday October 28.

Dear parents,
Your child will be bringing home a homework bag. This bag is to help keep everything organized. Each night they will have two books, a take home folder, and a homework duo-tang in their homework bag. You may keep their homework duo-tang home through the week and send it back on Friday as their homework for the week will go in it on Monday. Their take home folder will stay in their homework bag. This is where you can put any notes you would like to send into me.

I would like to make an official "HELLO" to all of my amazing students that I am so fortunate to have in my class this year. I can't wait to meet all of you and start a brand new school year.
I hope you all had a super, sun-filled summer and I cannot wait to hear all about your travels and your ventures that you experienced over the past two months.
