  Students and staff enjoyed a day of cupstacking events on Thursday , November 21st.  Congratulations and thanks to all who participated in the 2013 STACK UP!More that 2800 school and organizations representing 36 countries from around the world registered for this year’s colossal sport stacking event.

On Saturday November 16th 2013 North & South Esk Elementary EST-Resource Teacher Melissa Esty received the Minister’s Excellence in Teaching Award from Minister of Education, Honourable Marie Claude Blais.  This annual award is given to educators who portray outstanding skills in supporting the diverse needs of all learners while creating a positive learning environment in their school and community. On a daily basis Melissa demonstrates excellence in educational leadership, instructional practice and inclusive practice.  For that reason and many more,

Thank you to  the Halloween Committee along with all the volunteers who helped make our Halloween parade a huge success. The costumes were amazing yesterday, the classes who performed did an amazing job, and it was great to see family and friends come out to our school celebration! Happy Halloween!!

Boys Soccer Jamboree:So I just had a look at a schedule for tomorrow's jamboree. The boys play at 9:30 at the JMH field against Harkins.They then play again at 12 (field unknown vs. unknown team...depending on who wins the first one)Games are 2x 30 minute halves.There will be a canteen available/ bring a lunch & waterIt is a rain or shine event. (Dress for the event)Students will not be marked absent as it is a school eventPlayers have to find their own drive there
