It's finally Friday!
During these challenging and uncertain times, it’s important to remain hopeful, and morning affirmations are a great way for students to start the day.
Instructions:
- Choose one affirmation from the list below or from the attached poster
- Tell your child(ren) that you are sharing a few words to help them think positively and feel better
- Say the affirmation out loud, and ask your child(ren) to repeat it back to you.
- Encourage them to look directly at you
- Repeat step 3 several times
- Together, talk about what the words mean and why they help improve our outlook
- Ask your child(ren) to repeat the affirmation several times during the day
